Interactive Generative Art Installation

Technology/Components: Creative programming environment based on JavaScript code (p5.js library), generative art and botanical simulation algorithm of trees growing in real-time, capacitive sensing technology, conductive organic seeds, microcontrollers, high-resolution projection system, and interactive physical interface.

"Semillas Digitales. Digital Seeds" offers a multisensory experience where visitors, by touching the seeds held in a wooden container, artificially generate trees that grow in real time using touch detection technologies and generative art algorithms. This symbolic interaction reflects our relationship with nature and how our actions, however small, can influence the environment. As visitors continue to touch the seeds, the trees develop in unique and varied forms, reflecting the biological diversity of the natural world.

Semillas Digitales. Digital Seeds aims to be a profound reflection on our responsibility towards the environment. By interacting with the seeds, visitors become co-creators of the digital ecosystem, reminding us that our actions have a direct impact on the world around us. The installation also raises questions about sustainability, conservation and the role of technology in our relationship with nature.

Tecnología/Componentes: Entorno de programación creativa basado en código JavaScript (librería p5.js), algoritmo de arte generativo y simulación botánica de árboles creciendo en tiempo real, tecnología de detección capacitiva, semillas orgánicas conductivas, microcontroladores, sistema de proyección de alta resolución e interfaz física interactiva.

"Semillas Digitales. Digital Seeds" ofrece una experiencia multisensorial donde los visitantes, al tocar las semillas que contiene un recipiente de madera, generan artificialmente árboles que crecen en tiempo real mediante tecnologías de detección táctil y algoritmos de arte generativo. Esta interacción simbólica refleja nuestra relación con la naturaleza y cómo nuestras acciones, por pequeñas que sean, pueden influir en el entorno. A medida que los visitan- tes continúan tocando las semillas, los árboles se desarro- llan en formas únicas y variadas, reflejando la diversidad biológica del mundo natural.

Semillas Digitales. Digital Seeds pretende ser una reflexión profunda sobre nuestra responsabilidad hacia el medio ambiente. Al interactuar con las semillas, los visitantes se convierten en cocreadores del ecosistema digital, recordando que nuestras acciones tienen un impacto directo en el mundo que nos rodea. La instalación además plantea pre- guntas sobre la sostenibilidad, la conservación y el papel de la tecnología en nuestra relación con la naturaleza.
