Components: Full-scale physical replication of Spermwhale size (10 meters), marine necropsy forensic data (Castell de Ferro, 2012), industrial plastic debris database (HDPE, PP, LDPE), intensive agriculture elements (greenhouse covers, pots, jerrycans, ropes), and linear spatial installation structure for found objects on wood and glass display cabinets and iron stands.
"El Cachalote (The Spermwhale)" is a 10-metre long Instal-lation that shows and reproduces the components and materials that were ingested and subsequently discovered inside a 10-metre long male spermwhale weighing 4500 Kg, which was found dead on Castell de Ferro beach in Granada, in 2012.

All of these items that the cetacean accidentally ingested, cost it its life. Here we have prevalent and commonplace materials, used on a daily basis by the farming sector, which end up floating adrift in the open sea, and which can cost the life of a spermwhale.

Componentes: Réplica a escala real de tamaño de Cachalote (10 metros), datos forenses biológicos de necropsia marina (Castell de Ferro, 2012), archivo de residuos plásticos industriales (HDPE, PP, LDPE), componentes de agricultura intensiva (cubiertas de invernadero, macetas, garrafas, cabos) y estructura lineal de montaje espacial de objetos encontrados sobre vitrinas de madera y cristal y soportes de hierro.
Instalación que muestra y reproduce los componentes y materiales que fueron ingeridos y encontrados posteriormente en el interior de un cachalote macho de 10 metros y 4500 Kg., hallado muerto en la playa de Castell de Ferro de Granada en 2012.

Todos estos componentes que el cetáceo ingirió accidentalmente, le costaron su vida. Materiales tan comunes y habituales, usados a diario por el gremio de la agricultura, que acaban flotando a la deriva en mar abierto, y que valen la vida de un cachalote.
